Case & Barlow is the relatively new production duo that is Tristan Case & Tom Barlow - 2 UK-born, Sydney-based producers. Friends for many years, they have a small but hallowed string of releases between them, under various guises. This wonderful collaboration is an exciting new era for them, and we are very excited to welcome this power combo to the onedotsixtwo family with their brand new track, Dorse.
Dorse is hybrid progressive screamer, with a dark and sinister underbelly driven by relentless drums and a growling bassline, layered skilfully with futuristic and razor-sharp melodies, hooks and FX that are guaranteed to have jaws dropping on the dancefloor.
On remix duties we welcome Argentinian sensation Matias Gonzales aka Memory (ARG) - an artist who’s had some exceptional releases on Sudbeat, The Soundgarden and Plattenbank, to name but a few. In true gaucho style, Memory has taken this beast by its horns and made it his own, presenting us with an absolute masterpiece that has already been hammered everywhere from Sydney to Cairo, via Buenos Aries and everywhere in between, by our good friend ‘El Maestro’ Hernan Cattaneo. Memory’s remix transforms the original with exquisite precision into a delicate, spacious and cutting-edge progressive monster which builds towards a breakdown of biblical proportions.
