about

This next release is one we have been sitting on for quite some time now and it is truly thrilling to be sharing this with one you. With our feet remaining firmly planted in the musical beauty and barrios of Buenos Aires, Argentina, arguably one of the global nerve centres for Progressive House, we are honoured to have legendary duo Matias Larrosa & Martin Gardoqui releasing their amazing collaboration titled “If You Love Me” on the label.

Both producers have a had a huge string of releases over the past year as separate artists and recently together on some huge labels such and Plattenbank Records & One Of A Kind and has been constantly supported by the likes of Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren John Digweed & Sasha, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir.

The original mix is a beautifully deep & melancholic mix of low pressure atmospheric pads sitting perfectly between skilfully syncopated percussion and drums, with a truly hypnotic top line of acidic wobble giving the track its anchor to the dancefloor. These elements are woven around the focus of the track, a gorgeous, breathy Sadé-esque vocal, which lifts the concoction to truly etherial heights and ensures 7 minutes of intense dancefloor focus.

For the remix duties our dear friend Cesar Romero aka Simply City is back with us for his second remix on the label, providing his incredible (((Stereo))) Interpretation.
His skilful teasing of the vocal that weaves through a very hypnotic soundscape of late night vibes works its way towards a masterful breakdown that utilises the vocal in Simply City’s very unique way by creating an emotional dancefloor moment that will always be with you. This remix has gained huge early support from Hernán Cattaneo who has been playing it across his many set across the globe these past months.

In Cesar’s own words this is the best work of his career to date, and we totally agree as this masterpiece, along with the original, are undoubtedly two the strongest tracks in the ODST repertoire.
